Vienna Mozart Piano Trio

Founded in 1991, the Auner family's piano trio has performed throughout Europe and Asia, and hosts an annual music festival near to Vienna.  It has performed and recorded a wide repertoire of piano trios from Mozart to the present day.  

They begin with Mozart - his elegant and graceful G major trio, the last work he composed in the genre.  Schumann's four 'Fantasy Pieces' include warmly romantic melodies, a classical Humoresque and a vigorous March finale.  Brahms wrote his first piano trio at the age of 20, later revising it into a work that combines youthful passion with mature reflection.
